Tech: Bungie software: Bonobo, Sapien and 3D Studio Max with Bungie plug-ins

Description: Created "Highlands" multiplayer map for Defiant Map Pack DLC 1. Level Designer Steve Massey created 2D layout. I blocked it out in 3DS Max and iterated about 20% of the footprint after numerous playtest sessions to lock in perfect player and vehicle flow. Responsible for creating theme, level design document, blockout of map in 3DS Max, texture and lighting pass, portaling and placement of all gameplay assets. Playtested daily and iterated map for best possible results for all multiplayer gameplay modes. Worked closely with environment artist to insure vision of map was consistent with Bungie Art and original concept.
